Welcome. My name is J.J. Schleitwiler. My wife, Luz, and I live on a farm about 100 km north of the city of Medellin Colombia. We moved here from northeast Georgia in 2005. Being the redneck that I am, one of the first things I did when we got here was to set up my CB. Since then, I've enjoyed dxing with my friends in the USA daily in the late afternoon. Usually on 27.385lsb.

I've been CBing since 1967, and worked as a broadcast engineer at several stations in the US for 18 years. I set up this site to share my ideas and techniques I've learned about radioin' over the years.  I don't claim to be a "radio guru", and I don't expect everyone to agree with everything said here.  However, these things worked for me and I hope they'll help someone down the line.
